Habseligkeiten and other stuff

September is my busiest month for shooting. So I thought I’d start it by buying a new flat, packing up the old house, blogging a bunch of summer weddings and generally being all over the place (in most senses). Yaaay! Me and the little guy are packing up our habseligkeiten. Isn’t that a lovely word?! No idea how to pronounce it but I know a lady who will. I’ll ask her…

So here they are (drumroll, ta) –
We’ve got Phil and Sophie’s Byre at Inchyra hoot from April, Cheryl & Lucy’s beaut of a day at Cow Shed in Crail, Me and Alix cheesin at all the fun stuff Linsey and Matt brought us to play with at Wedderburn Barns, Rea and Rhi’s lush woodland ceremony at Comrie Croft and Molly and Tom’s wee BAad Glasgow party, complete with actual magic.

HUGE thanks to all our wedding couples this year so far. We really are having a great time this year, I’ve loved every wedding and it’s ace to shoot with Sarah Roberts, who I haven’t worked with since our previous live music lives. No need to get into any details there…

Thanks to Alix and Loraine as always for shooting with me too. September sees all 4 of us working 2 weddings on the same day at opposite ends of the country! It’s quite a big deal for little Solen Photography, exciting times! Alix and Loraine will be in Selkirk while Sarah and I go on a road trip to Ardtornish. Eeeep!

In other news, October’s Wedding Collective Maarket (<- sorry) at BAaD is postponed. Sad face. BUT we have a date for a March Edinburgh market at Biscuit Factory (11th, FYI). Happy face!

Also, if you happen to be in Stirling go see the Edinburgh Collage Collective exhibiton at Codebase. I completely failed to get my act together to send some more collages along but we might have another wee project developing soon…

Right, back to aw the stuff, wish me luck! xx
