Super delighted to share this Festival Brides glitter bridal makeup feature!
A series of 5 makeup tutorials by Cori Burnett (Makeup by Cori) on ways to create wearable glittery bridal looks. It makes sense that it’s on the ace Festival Brides blog! We had such a fun time shooting this with Nicola Gillespie. Cori and I styled the shoot ourselves and it features some lovely clothes from Those Were The Days Vintage, who have a boutique in Stockbridge, Edinburgh. The headpieces are by Modiste (the vintage veil) and Maggie Mowbray Millinery. The gorgeous jewellery which I really didn’t want to give back was from Sarah Brown Jewellery and Wolf & Moon. Full credits are listed below.
It’s such a lovely thing to do a little alternative bridal editorial shoot in amongst the crazy busy wedding season. It’s a great chance to be creative with a team and to come up with ideas that your future brides might like. The same team shot another bridalwear shoot this last weekend which I’m currently working on editing. This time a bunch of beautiful vintage 1960s wedding and bridesmaids dresses. Cannot wait to share those too!!
If you like these looks you’ll find them on My Work board over on pinterest.
